THE PHOENIX CONTINUES TO RISE @ THE SENSITIVITY TRAINING

The College Guidance Center held the First Phase of the Sensitivity Training
Program at Charles Huang Conference Hall in Nasugbu, Batangas last August 26-28, 2006.
Mr. Chun Yu Yorgos Lam, Director of Guidance Center facilitated the training with the
help of the counselors, Ms. Christine Garinganao, Ms. Jade Rodriguez, Ms. Jaclyn Joyce Domingo and yours truly. As part of the Guidance Program, the training will be conducted yearly to facilitate the peer counselors and student leaders in enhancing their leadership potentials to be able to meet the LCCM’s
Quality Policy on Student — Clientele Satisfaction.
Participants who attended the training were given several visualization exercises
and group dynamics essential for the development of self-awareness and sensitivity
towards self as well as for the other people. This activity also served as an interaction for all the participants in the
said activity . These students were trained to serve as the school’s link to the LCCians.
Induction of officers and new members of Peer Volunteers Association (PVA), and giving of certificates was held on
the last day of the training.
The schedule for Phase II of the Sensitivity Training Program will be held on October 23 & 24. Phase III of the
training program will be conducted on November 11, 2006.
