Why Peer Volunteers’ Association???
By: Diah Mae Abida (PVA Member)
There are
times in our life when all we think about is having fun. Others are burying themselves in books, forgetting that there are
other things in life that they can focus on. However, the students must know
that learning while having fun is okay; they should consider other possibilities to make their life worthwhile. They have
to search incessantly for a venue to allow their potentials to come out and discover its uses in the real world.
The question
now is where we can find such venue? We suggest La Consolacion College Manila. Specifically, the PEER VOLUNTEERS’ ASSOCIATION…
I’ve been in this organization for almost two years. There was once when I “disappeared” from the group.
But when I realized what PVA can do for me, I decided to come back. I am very lucky that I am part of this association. I
was able to come out of my shell. I discovered things that I was able to do and I was able to do my best. Above all, I met
new friends. I was able to build my own “family” because of PVA. I was able to become closer to those people I’ve
known only by names. I don’t have any regret that I was part of this organization because PEER VOLUNTEERS ASSOCIATION
is……..
THE
PLACE WHERE DIFFERENT COURSES MEET,
THE
VENUE WHERE STRANGERS ARE STRANGERS NO MORE,
THE
REPERTOIRE WHERE GROWING AND…
DEVELOPMENT
BEGINS.
