Nowadays, students do not really know what is the true meaning of PEERS. They even mistook the importance or the reason of its existence. All they know, even though it was one of its major factors, is that they joined the group for the sake of saying that they were in the group status. They imitate one another’s actions just to be “IN” in the group.  Unfortunately, they also imitate their vices like smoking and drinking which becomes the bad side of the PEERS. All things done in the name of brotherhood (fraternity=brotherhood).

But being a part of the PEER group in La Consolacion College Manila is different. It makes you feel that you are really “in.” Our virtues are our vices, bringing out the true meaning of brotherhood and sisterhood. That’s not all.  Through our trainings, from Phase I to Phase III, we are made stronger as a person and as a group. And through our daily activities, like duties at the Guidance Office, it makes us learn the importance of patience and responsibility.  It also makes us one big family.

So why don’t you take this opportunity to change. Take away all your vices and be a model of virtues. All you have to do is to change for the better and open your eyes to the positive reality around us.  Or better yet, join us. :)
